At Page One PPC, our mission is to maximise your online advertising ROI through expert Google Ads management. A successful partnership is built on mutual respect, clear communication, and collaborative efforts. To achieve the best possible results, we've outlined guidelines tailored to our work together in managing your Google Ads campaigns.
Please review the key guidelines below. These are essential for maintaining performance and a successful working relationship.
Key Guidelines Summary:
- Page One PPC maintains exclusive management control of your Google Ads account while we are responsible for performance.
- No third parties may create or manage campaigns, and all changes must go through our team.
- Campaign strategy must remain aligned to ensure consistent optimization and results.
- Each Google Ads account is limited to one website or business.
- Accurate tracking is required for campaigns to run and optimize effectively.
- Unauthorized changes may result in campaigns being paused, tracking removed, or services terminated.
- Overdue invoices may result in service restrictions, campaign pauses, tracking suspension, or termination in line with our Terms of Service.
Scope of Service:
Our management plans cover Google Ads campaign strategy, setup, optimization and reporting.
Website changes, landing page development, tracking implementation beyond initial setup, consent management, and custom integrations are not included in standard management plans and may be scoped or billed separately.
1. Professional and Respectful Communication
- Open Dialogue: We encourage honest and transparent communication. Please share any questions or concerns about your campaigns promptly.
- Mutual Respect: Let's maintain a professional tone in all interactions. Respectful communication fosters a positive and productive environment.
- Timely Responses: Quick responses to emails, calls or chat messages help us make timely adjustments to your campaigns when needed.
- Request Prioritisation: All requests are prioritised based on their impact on campaign performance. Non-critical items may be scheduled into future cycles to ensure focus remains on results-driven work.
2. Collaboration on Campaign Strategies
- Trusting Our Expertise: Our team is Google-certified and composed of senior-level professionals with extensive experience in Google Ads management. We utilize industry best practices and data-driven strategies to maximise your results, and we kindly ask that you consider our recommendations carefully.
- Valuable Feedback: Your insights into your business and industry are crucial. Please share your feedback so we can tailor campaigns to your specific needs.
- Unified Direction: Once we've agreed on campaign strategies, supporting the plan allows us to execute effectively and measure results accurately.
3. Changes to Google Ads Campaigns
- Avoid Unauthorized Changes: Making changes to campaigns without our knowledge can lead to suboptimal performance and data inconsistencies.
- Change Requests: If you feel adjustments are necessary, please discuss them with us so we can add them to the build system for your review and approval, ensuring they align with your goals and strategy.
- Build System for Transparency: We use our internal build system to present all campaign structures, keywords, settings and ad assets. You will receive a secure link to review the full build and request any changes before we launch. All approvals and revisions are handled through this system for clarity and accuracy.
- Exclusive Campaign Management: Page One PPC maintains exclusive management control over all Google Ads campaigns under our service. No third party may create, edit, or manage campaigns while we are actively responsible for the account.
- Unauthorized Changes: Any external changes, including the creation of new campaigns or edits to existing campaigns by third parties, are considered a breach of these guidelines. This includes freelancers, internal staff, other agencies, or any individual granted access without alignment. This also includes changes made via scripts, integrations, or account access adjustments.
- Account Access & Management Control: Page One PPC requires uninterrupted manager account access to all Google Ads accounts under management in order to monitor performance, maintain tracking integrity, and ensure campaign stability.
- If manager account access is removed, restricted, or another agency or third party is granted active management access without prior alignment, this is considered a termination of active management conditions. In such cases, Page One PPC will immediately cease campaign management and will not be responsible for performance from that point onward.
- Reconnection of access after removal is not guaranteed and will be evaluated at our discretion.
- No Co-Management: We do not support co-managed Google Ads accounts under any circumstances. Only one active management party may operate within an account at any time while Page One PPC is responsible for performance.
- Granting access to another agency or third party for management purposes without prior alignment will be treated as a transition of control and may result in immediate cessation of our services.
- Breach and Enforcement: If unauthorized changes occur, campaign management may be paused immediately, tracking systems may be removed, and services may be terminated with notice. Continued breaches will result in termination. Page One PPC cannot be held accountable for performance where multiple parties are managing the account.
- Account Structure: Each Google Ads account managed by Page One PPC is limited to one domain or one business entity only. Running multiple websites, domains, or businesses within a single account is not supported as it impacts campaign structure, tracking accuracy, reporting clarity, and optimization.
- Separate Accounts Required: Where additional domains, websites, or businesses are to be advertised, separate Google Ads accounts and separate management plans are required.
4. White-Label and Agency Relationship
- Agency Alignment: Where Page One PPC operates via a partner agency, all communication and campaign management must remain aligned through the appointed agency.
- No External Managers: Clients may not engage additional marketers, freelancers, or agencies to manage campaigns while Page One PPC is actively managing the account. This creates conflicting strategies, compromises performance, and removes clear accountability.
5. Implementation of Recommendations
- Applying Our Advice: Our recommendations are based on in-depth analysis and industry expertise. Collaborating on their implementation helps achieve the best results.
- Lead Feedback: We use a lead management system that analyzes leads daily. Lead qualification and junk filtering are automated to ensure consistency. You are still able to mark which leads result in sales, which helps improve optimization and provides clearer reporting.
- Landing Pages and Website Updates: Updates to your website or landing pages often improve ad performance. Your cooperation in implementing these updates is appreciated.
- Conversion Tracking: Accurate tracking is essential. We will need access to your website or builder platform to configure events such as form submissions, calls and live chat interactions.
- Ongoing Tracking Maintenance: Any fixes required due to website changes, third-party tools, platform limitations, or consent configurations may require additional implementation work and may be scoped or billed separately.
- Tracking Systems: Any tracking systems, scripts, or tools implemented by Page One PPC, including lead tracking and offline conversion tracking, remain part of the managed service and may be removed if services are paused or terminated.
- Use of Tracking Systems: Our lead tracking system is designed to operate as-is as part of the managed service. Customization requests, additional features, or changes to widget behavior fall outside standard use and may require separate scoping or development time.
- Pre Launch Tracking Requirements: Full tracking must be in place before campaigns are launched to ensure accurate optimization. This includes Google Tag Manager installed, website access, working conversion events and, where relevant, offline conversion tracking. Campaigns cannot be launched until these requirements are completed, unless you choose to proceed without full tracking and confirm in writing that performance data may be incomplete and lead quality optimization may be limited.
6. Patience with Optimization Process
- Understanding the Learning Phase: Google Ads campaigns may require a learning period to optimize fully. Patience during this phase is crucial.
- Data-Driven Adjustments: We rely on data to make informed decisions. Allowing campaigns to run as planned provides the necessary data for optimization.
- Avoid Frequent Changes: Constant alterations can reset the learning phase and negatively impact performance. Change requests will be evaluated and implemented based on data and strategic alignment, not opinion alone.
7. Conflict Resolution
- Addressing Issues Promptly: If concerns arise about campaign performance or our services, please bring them to our attention promptly so they can be addressed constructively.
- Constructive Feedback: Open and constructive feedback helps us improve and serve you better.
- Resolution: We are committed to resolving issues collaboratively to ensure a smooth and effective working relationship.
- Breach of Guidelines: Failure to adhere to these guidelines, including unauthorized campaign changes or third-party management, may result in immediate pausing of campaigns, removal of tracking systems, and termination of services with notice.
8. Ownership and Intellectual Property
- Full Account Ownership: You retain full ownership of your Google Ads account, including all campaigns, data, and settings.
- Intellectual Property Rights: Any creative assets, ad copies, or strategies developed specifically for your campaigns are your intellectual property.
- Data Security: We handle your business information and campaign data with the utmost confidentiality. For your security, you access your Google Ads account through your own Google account login, meaning we do not know or store your personal passwords.
9. Payments & Service Continuity
- Timely Payment: Timely payment is required to maintain uninterrupted campaign management, tracking systems, support and reporting.
- Overdue Accounts: Overdue invoices may result in service restrictions, campaign pauses, tracking suspension, or termination in line with our Terms of Service.
- Payment Administration: Invoices should be settled as a single payment wherever possible. Repeated split payments, partial payments, missing proof of payment, or recurring reconciliation issues may result in stricter payment terms or additional administration fees.
10. Mutual Success
- Shared Goals: Our success is linked to yours. By working together, we aim to exceed your advertising objectives.
- Regular Reporting: We'll provide detailed reports on campaign performance through standard monthly email reporting. Scheduled calls, video meetings, performance reviews, and direct call support are available separately through our Premium Support add-on with Darin.
- Continuous Improvement: We're committed to refining strategies for better results. Your cooperation is essential in this ongoing process.
- Performance Accountability: Our ability to achieve results depends on maintaining a controlled campaign environment. Where multiple parties are managing the account, performance data becomes unreliable and Page One PPC is not responsible for performance outcomes.
